The David Hockney Challenge was just the beginning…..

Woldgate Tree…..

At the Waltham meeting Rosie took photos of the finished quilt that Kath Greenfield has made as well as photographing some of the pages from Kath’s sketchbook.  It isn’t a requirement of the challenge to produce a sketchbook but it can be a useful tool to help develop an idea and also a good way of remembering how a piece of work has been constructed.  Another way to do this, and the one I tend to use, is to start your own on-line journal such as a creative blog so you can keep track of how your work develops over a period of time.

This beautiful monochrome quilt is called Woldgate Tree and is 30cm x 40 cm landscape.
